Richard Tonge & Jan Daelman
Jan Daelman (nee Wagstaff) has owned and loved dogs since 10
years of age. This love led to owning a cross breed which
she trained for Obedience Competition and Breed Shows, this became a 20+ year
chapter of her life, including German Shepherds, Border Collies
and Polish Lowland Sheepdogs. Jan has taught
obedience and judged competitions as well as competing herself.
Breeds that have attended classes includes, golden retrievers,
poodles, corgi's, flat coat retrievers, labrador retrievers,
curly coat retrievers, cross breeds, borzoi and many more.
Jan has also been involved in rescue work but found it too heart
breaking to continue.
Richard Tonge has owned and loved dogs from being a child and
had in 1983, a Groenendal named Jack being Best Puppy in Breed
at Crufts. Other dogs have included Max, who was trained to work
as a guard dog for the homeless family’s hostel (Max GSD X
Labrador). He often protected battered wives and their children.
The dogs, Eric, Liam and Tegwyn were retired Guide dogs for the
blind. These were placed with Richard to be looked after until
their demise. While working with the retired Guide Dogs, it
encouraged Richard to purchase a German Shepherd. Richard also
had a business making and renovating hand-carved Rocking Horses, selling them all over the world.
We would like to announce that we will not be producing any more
litters of any breed, but our Boys are available still for Stud
duties.
